Standing in his fiery mountain,
dripping wet with cold.
He looked upon me smugly,
with eyes that were pure gold.
He laughed at my request,
for I had been there seeking.

And from his skin that looked like glass,
he poured out drops of blood.
Into the goblet I clasped in hand,
the darkest river flowed.
And when he finished,
he beckoned to me,
to drink the contents fast.
And so I did,
the burning pain
a large and harsh request.
For Dragon’s Blood,
holds the key
to all languages
ancient and new.
And with the final drop,
I turned my head
and smiled with sharp teeth.
